WHAT SHOULD I DO WHILE I’M SEEKING GOD’S WILL? (PART 3) Written by:  Evangelist Daniel Kolenda Actively Ask for God’s Direction How often has God stood by ready, willing and able to help us, but we never turned to Him or gave Him an opportunity to intervene and bring glory to Himself through our crisis? As a result, we have often forfeited peace and struggled under the load of unnecessary burdens—all because we did not inquire of the Lord. What’s worse, an opportunity to bring glory to God was lost. What is so amazing is that Asa makes the very same mistake again only three verses later: “In the thirty-ninth year of his reign Asa was diseased in his feet—until his disease became very severe; yet in his disease he did not seek the Lord, but relied on the physicians. And Asa slept with his fathers, dying in the forty-first year of his reign” (2 Chronicles 16:12–13 AMP). Can you see the pattern? The author is trying to communicate a moral through this story th

With God, the Impossible Is Possible

With God, the Impossible Is Possible And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with everincreasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NIV) The word “glory” appears throughout the Bible. It is a rich word, with different applications and layers of meaning. For example, Scripture uses “glory” to describe honor, wealth, and power – like the glory of a king or a person held in high esteem. But Scripture also uses “glory” to signify God’s manifest – or tangible – presence. Often these references describe a personal encounter with God when His glorious presence moves from the spiritual realm into the earthly realm. During such an encounter, people experience God’s glory with one or more of their five natural senses: sight, sound, taste, touch, or smell. Does this mean we can experience God the same way? Yes! Throughout both Testaments, the Bible gives examples of ordinary peo

FIRE OF THE Holy Spirit

God has called us to experience the adventure of life in the Holy Spirit. We all need His fire burning in our hearts. In fact, Ephesians 5:18 urges us to be constantly filled with the Spirit. So if you hunger for more, you will be blessed by this teaching, “Fire of the Holy Spirit.” The Holy Spirit is not an “optional extra” for Christians. He is the very essence of our relationship with the Father and the only way we can accomplish what God has called us to do. Our nation needs a move of God, and you can be part of it. We have generations of people who have never experienced the Holy Spirit, which is heart-breaking to me. However, ordinary people filled with fire can make all the difference, opening the door for others to enter the Spirit-filled adventure of life in Christ’s Kingdom. For over four decades our ministry has seen the Holy Spirit radically transform people’s lives, bodies, relationships and circumstances. We’ve FIRE OF THE Holy Spirit seen millions set o

Hearing God‘s Voice

Hearing God‘s Voice “I urgently need to hear from God!” Is that your need at the moment? Then I would like to share some personal experiences with you. I believe they will help and bless you. Do you need to hear from God? Is there a situation, circumstance, or condition in your life (or a loved one’s life) where you need to hear His voice? God is speaking to us today. Our ability to recognize His voice is not only the key to discovering His will in any situation, it is also the key to staying in His will for the rest of our lives. Hearing the voice of God is not only possible for His child; it is absolutely imperative. Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke said, “It would be hard to find a line of Scripture on which to build a doctrine of a silent God. It is not at all the Bible picture. People called on God because that is how they knew Him - as a God whose voice can be heard.” Jesus said, “But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep…and the sheep follow him,

GIFT OF GOD

What is the most familiar verse in the Bible? Most people would say, John 3:16 – and rightly so. Nearly all believers have it memorized. I’ll never get tired of it. The limitless wealth and timeless truth of the whole Gospel message is captured in that one verse. I wish the whole world knew it by heart. I have often meditated on the significance of the first nine words: “For God so loved the world that He gave…” That short phrase teaches us two profound characteristics of God: He is a loving God. He is a generous and giving God. It is one thing to say, “I love you.” But to express that love through a tangible transaction – especially one of great cost – that’s another thing entirely. Real love is about action, not mere words. And giving is an indispensable act of love. THE GIFT OF GOD When I proposed to my wife, I told her that I loved her. But my words were not enough. After telling her that I loved her, I showed her by getting down on one knee and giving her a dia
